RigForge (the “App,” shown as “Rig Forge” on the App Store) is an AI-assisted vehicle concept studio for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what information RigForge collects, why it is used, when it is shared, and the choices available to you.

1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create or use an account, we may process:
- your email address;
- your name or display name, if provided;
- the account identifier assigned by Firebase Authentication;
- your sign-in provider, such as Sign in with Apple or email and password; and
- account state such as email-verification status and credit balance.
If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide a private relay email instead of your personal email. RigForge does not receive your Apple ID password.
Vehicle designs and generated content
When you generate a rig, we process:
- the selections and design description assembled from your vehicle, finish, style, scene, detail, camera, and image-size choices;
- a request identifier and job status used to prevent duplicate charges and retry safely;
- the resulting generated image; and
- technical generation information such as model name, image size, token usage, estimated provider cost, timestamps, and success or failure state.
Your design description is sent to OpenAI through the RigForge server to create the requested image. Do not include personal, confidential, or sensitive information in a design description.
Purchases and credits
If you buy generation credits, Apple processes the payment. RigForge receives limited purchase information needed to validate and apply the purchase, such as the product identifier, transaction identifier, purchase environment, refund or revocation state, and the RigForge account to which the purchase is bound. RigForge does not receive your complete payment-card number.
Photos access
If you choose Save to Photos, the App requests the iOS permission needed to write the generated image to your Photos library. RigForge uses this permission only when you ask to save an image. The App does not upload or collect the existing photos in your library.
Technical and security information
Our infrastructure providers may process limited technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as IP address, user agent, authentication events, service logs, App Attest or App Check signals, and error information. RigForge does not currently include advertising SDKs, Firebase Analytics, or Firebase Crashlytics.
Information stored on your device
The App uses local preferences for settings such as whether you have acknowledged the AI-generation notice and for limited retry or interface state. This information normally stays on your device unless the operating system backs up app data.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- create and secure your account;
- provide the vehicle-design and image-generation service;
- maintain your private gallery and let you save images to Photos;
- manage credit balances, validate purchases, process refunds, and prevent duplicate grants;
- return a credit when a generation fails;
- prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
- diagnose failures, operate the service, estimate generation costs, and improve reliability;
- respond to support, privacy, and account requests; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce the Terms.
RigForge does not sell your personal information. RigForge does not use your information for third-party targeted advertising.
3. When information is shared
We share information only as needed to provide the service, comply with law, or protect users and the service.
Google Firebase and Google Cloud
RigForge uses Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and App Check to provide accounts, data storage, server processing, and abuse protection. Google processes information on our behalf under its applicable terms. Learn more at Privacy and Security in Firebase.
OpenAI
RigForge sends the vehicle design description and generation settings to the OpenAI API to create an image. OpenAI may process that content and related technical information under its business and API terms, privacy commitments, and configured retention practices. Apple
Apple provides App Store distribution, Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases, refunds, and Photos permissions. Apple processes information under its own privacy policy. Learn more at Apple Privacy.
Legal and safety disclosures
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, protect the rights or safety of users or others, investigate fraud or abuse, or protect the App and its infrastructure. If ownership of the service changes, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to this policy and applicable law.
We require service providers that process personal information for RigForge to protect it consistently with their contracts and applicable law.
4. Retention
Retention depends on the type of information:
- Generated images and gallery entries: Cloud copies are scheduled to expire 30 days after generation. Cleanup normally runs within the next hourly cycle. Cloud Storage may retain recoverable soft-deleted copies for approximately seven additional days under the current storage policy. Copies you save to Photos are controlled by you and are not removed when the cloud copy expires.
- Generation descriptions and job records: The current service retains the design description, request fingerprint, timestamps, status, and other job metadata to support account history, idempotency, and operations until you delete your account or the service applies an earlier cleanup policy.
- Account information and credits: Retained while your account is active.
- Purchase, refund, credit-grant, deletion, and abuse-prevention records: Limited records may be retained after account deletion where needed to prevent duplicate claims, process refunds, maintain transaction integrity, meet tax/accounting requirements, resolve disputes, or comply with law.
- Operational generation-cost records: Limited records such as model, size, token usage, and estimated cost may be retained for service operations. These records do not contain the design description or generated image, though an internal record identifier may be associated with the originating account.
- Provider logs and backups: Our providers may retain security logs, backups, and service data according to their own terms and retention schedules.
We may retain information longer when required by law, needed to resolve a dispute, or necessary to protect the service from fraud or abuse.
5. Your choices and controls
Review and update account information
You can view your account email, provider, account ID, and credit balance from Your account in the App. Some profile information can be updated there.
Save or remove generated images
Save a generated rig to Photos before its 30-day cloud period ends if you want to keep a copy. You can delete that local copy through the Photos app.
Photos permission
You can change Photos access in iOS or iPadOS Settings. Revoking access prevents future saves but does not remove images already saved.
Delete your account
Open Your account in RigForge and choose Delete account. The App asks you to confirm and may require reauthentication. Deletion removes the Firebase account, profile, wallet, cloud-generated images, private gallery entries, generation jobs, and credit ledger. Remaining credits are forfeited. Limited transaction, credit-grant, deletion, and anti-abuse records may be retained as described above.
For Sign in with Apple accounts, RigForge attempts to revoke the associated Apple authorization as part of deletion. You can also manage apps using Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account settings.
If the in-app deletion flow is unavailable, email tnicedesign@gmail.com from the address associated with the account or include the account ID shown in Your account.
Privacy requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of personal information, or to appeal a privacy decision. Email tnicedesign@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
You may also contact your local data-protection authority. These rights are subject to applicable exceptions, including records that must be retained for legal, security, or transaction-integrity purposes.
6. Security
RigForge uses access controls, authenticated requests, server-owned generation and credit operations, and encryption provided by our infrastructure providers in transit and at rest. Generated cloud images are restricted to their account owner through Firebase rules. Download links may contain an unguessable access token; anyone who obtains such a link may be able to view the image until the token or file is deleted.
No system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your account credentials and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
7. International processing
RigForge and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, providers use recognized safeguards for international transfers.
8. Children
RigForge is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to these practices on their own. If you are not old enough to agree to this policy and the Terms where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept them for you. Do not submit personal information about a child in a design description. If you believe a child provided information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the App, providers, or law. The current version will be posted at this URL with an updated date. We will provide additional notice when required by law or when a change materially affects your rights.
